As we head into summer, we’ve been reflecting on the steps we’ve taken this year to reduce our footprint as a leading healthy school lunch provider. 🌱
We’ve always believed food is a powerful tool for change. This year, we challenged ourselves to make bold choices that support our sustainability goals — and hopefully inspire others to do the same. 🌍
Here are a few things we’re especially proud of as a top education catering provider:
🥐 Saying goodbye to a favourite (for good reason!)
With help from Klimato, we tracked the carbon footprint of our menu. One of our bestsellers — the Turkey Cheese Croissant — turned out to be not so great for the planet. So we swapped it for a lower-impact option, supporting our mission to offer more nutritious school meals and sustainable school catering. Not easy, but the right call. 📦 Less waste, better packaging
We’ve been cutting down packaging across the board and switching to more sustainable alternatives for our school lunch catering. It’s a work in progress — and there’s more to come next year.
🚐 Our shiny new electric van
Now making regular, emission-free deliveries to schools and sparking great conversations with students about sustainability and healthy eating for children.
🤝 Teaming up for impact
Our partnerships with The Alliance for Sustainable Schools (TASS) and Klimato are helping set new standards for sustainable school catering and nutritious school meals. We’re proud to be part of a community that’s driving real change.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to build on this momentum with even bolder steps in the new school year — always guided by data, collaboration, and the courage to do what’s right.
